Covid 19 Regulations

Back

Following CA guidance and Government regulations, the following measures will be in place, this will enable the club to open and ensure that we play in a safe way.

If the guidance is not adhered to members will be asked to leave the lawns:

It remains the case that those aged over 70 or with specific chronic pre-existing conditions should continue to take particular care to minimise contact with others outside their households. Individual members who fall into these categories must make their own decision as to whether they wish to play.

Regardless, you must not come to the lawns if you are experiencing any symptoms of a cold or flu particularly a cough or high temperature.

Booking:

1.       Only members who have paid their subscription for this season are permitted to play.

2.       You must have pre-booked a lawn using the Club’s online booking system. No booking, no play.

If you have difficulty with the booking system, please contact Marion or Tony Jose.

3.       Use of the lawns by outside bodies (EG: U3A, WI or Scouts) will be by agreement of the Committee.

10.   Only four players will be allowed to play on a lawn at one time. The practice of the winning pair moving to another lawn is temporarily suspended. You will stay on the same lawn for the session; change of partner within your group is permitted.

11.   Double banking can only be used when playing singles. Do not follow on, start from the opposite corner. It must be agreed within your group of four whether to play singles or doubles.

12.    Clean padlock before and after use. You will need to carry and provide your own sanitiser and wipes for this as the cleaners and sanitiser provided for the equipment will be kept inside the store. The wearing of protective gloves is recommended. Some of you may wish to wear a facemask.                                                                        ONLY ONE PERSON AT A TIME IS ALLOWED INSIDE THE EQUIPMENT SHED.

13.   Use the sanitiser and wipes provided to cleanse equipment such as trolleys, hoops, balls and club mallets, before and after play.
